We conduct classes in the traditional form of Karate-Do known as Matsubayashi-Ryu, which was founded by Grand Master Shoshin Nagamine in 1947. We are members of the World Matsubayashi-Ryu (Shorin-Ryu) Karate-Do Association ("WMKA") under Master Takayoshi Nagamine, Hanshi, 9th dan. The WMKA has branches throughout the world. Fred Christian is a Kyoshi, 7th dan, with over 35 years of experience. He has made several trips to Okinawa to study Shorin-ryu, Matsubayashi-Ryu with Grandmaster Shoshin Nagamine and Master Takayoshi Nagamine. He is first generation under Takayoshi Master Nagamine. He has trained over 40 blackbelts during his years as sensei. He currently has 21 active blackbelts with ranks up to Rokodan.

General Classes for Adults and Children are held on:
Tuesday and Thursday, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Blackbelt workouts for those holding the rank of Shodan and above in Matsubayashi-Ryu are held on:
Thursdays starting at 8:40 p.m.
